Bishop (undisclosed) is among the Giants prospects who will take part in the upcoming Arizona Fall League, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
San Francisco's decision to send Bishop to the AFL implies that the organization feels he's healthy again after injuries limited him to 16 total games between the High-A, Low-A and rookie-ball levels in 2021. Bishop finished the campaign on Low-A San Jose's 7-day injured list, but he'll look to make up for some of the development time he lost this season in the AFL. Expect Bishop to report back to High-A to open 2022.
