Davis was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Cubs with tightness in his right hip, Danny Emerman of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.
The 30-year-old will take a seat on the bench, and Casey Schmitt will handle the hot corner and hit eighth. Davis should be considered day-to-day.
