Pederson exited Sunday's game against the Pirates due to a right hand contusion, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Pederson was hit by a pitch on his right hand in the fourth inning Sunday and initially remained in the game, but he was replaced defensively in the top of the sixth. He should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener against the Diamondbacks.
