Pederson isn't starting Friday against the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Pederson has operated in the strong side of a platoon this year, and he'll be out of the lineup for a second straight game since left-hander Sean Manaea is on the mound Friday. Darin Ruf, Austin Slater and Luis Gonzalez are starting in the outfield from left to right.
