Chapman went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Padres.
Chapman has a career-high 14 steals this year, though he's recorded just two of them since the start of August. In that same span, he's batting (.276) with 14 extra-base hits and 21 RBI over 32 games, an improvement on his .249 average for the season. The third baseman has added a .780 OPS, 22 home runs, 69 RBI, 91 runs scored, 34 doubles and a triple through 138 contests, a performance which helped earn him a six-year, $151 million contract extension earlier this week.
