Kazmir exited Thursday's start against the Dodgers with a strained right hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
It initially appeared as though an ankle injury caused Kazmir's removal during the first inning, but it ended up being a hamstring strain. The veteran left-hander was already a long shot to crack the Giants' postseason roster, and the injury certainly won't help those odds.
