Kazmir exited his start Thursday in the first inning with an apparent ankle injury, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Kazmir was covering first base and appeared to turn his ankle. While the injury seemingly isn't serious, he is almost certain to not pitch again in the regular season and his status could be in doubt for the postseason. After Thursday's brief outing in which he gave up three earned runs, Kazmir has a 6.35 ERA with a 10:6 K:BB across 11.1 innings on the campaign.
