Williams was signed to a minor-league contract with the Giants on Sunday, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports. He is at their training camp as a non-roster invitee.
Williams split time between the Padres and the Marlins last season, posting a 4.63 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB across 11.2 innings. The right-hander will compete for a job in the major-league bullpen this season, but he'll likely start the year with Triple-A Sacramento.
