The Giants outrighted Brooks to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
Brooks passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment and will remain in the organization. The first baseman went 3-for-25 at the plate during his time with the Giants before he was moved off the 40-man roster.
