White Sox second baseman Gordon Beckham was forced out of Thursday's game against the Twins in the fourth inning with a strained right quad. He finished 1 for 2 with a run scored and was replaced by Jeff Keppinger at second base. He will likely be re-evaluated Friday.

Beckham batted .310/.361/.418 with three homers and 17 RBI in 239 at-bats before the injury.
