The Guardians sent Holderman (wrist) on a rehab assignment to Triple-A Columbus on Thursday.

Holderman has been out with right wrist inflammation since Sept. 4. However, he has been dealing with the issue in his wrist since mid-August. The right-hander is eligible to return Sept. 19.
