Schneemann went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 9-4 loss to the Royals in the second game of Monday's doubleheader.
Schneemann went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter in the matinee, but he logged his fourth multi-hit effort in five contests while starting at third base in the nightcap. The utility man has yet to lock down one steady spot in the lineup, but he's seen regular playing time between center field, shortstop and third base lately. With Lane Thomas struggling since he was traded from the Nationals, the Guardians may opt to have Schneemann handle a strong-side platoon role in center field eventually. For the season, Schneemann is slashing .239/.320/.413 with five homers, three stolen bases, 21 RBI and 15 runs scored over 58 games.
