Fry is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers.
Fry will get some rest for the series finale after he started at either designated hitter or first base in each of Cleveland's last five games while going 4-for-15 with two walks, one RBI and one run. Jose Ramirez will get a day off from playing third base and will serve as the Guardians' DH while Fry hits the bench.
