Cantillo is expected to be called up from Triple-A Columbus to start Monday's contest against the White Sox, Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Cantillo was optioned to Columbus on Aug. 27 after he pitched 1.2 scoreless innings against the Royals in Game 1 of the team's doubleheader that day. The left-hander has appeared in five games with Cleveland this season, including four starts, producing an inflated 7.71 ERA with 15 strikeouts over 18.2 frames. Cantillo will replace Ben Lively in the Guardians rotation Monday, and it's currently unclear when Lively might make his next start.
