Lowe started at first base and went 2-for-6 with a double and two RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Mets.
Lowe made his starting debut for the Guardians and should remain a starter whenever the club faces a right-hander. He was a big part of Cleveland overcoming an early 3-0 deficit, including a game-tying, two-run single the fifth inning. He and Rhys Hoskins will work the platoon at first base, as the team demoted Kyle Manzardo on Monday after acquiring Lowe from the Reds.
