Leon was outrighted to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Leon was designated for assignment by Cleveland on Friday but will remain in the organization after clearing waivers. Over 26 Triple-A games this year, he's hit .222 with a homer, seven RBI and five runs.
