Despite being hit by a pitch on his wrist and undergoing X-rays Tuesday, Indians first baseman Carlos Santana had a big game on Wednesday. In the team's win over the Rangers, Santana went 1 for 3 with a three-run home run in the third inning. It was Santana's sixth homer of the season, and second in his last three games.

Santana also walked twice and scored twice on Wednesday. He is still batting a low .221 on the season, but he has now reached base safely via a hit or a walk in eight straight games.
