Civale will be a part of the Indians' 60-man player pool this season.
He was optioned to Triple-A back in March, but the expectation was always that Civale would be a major part of Cleveland's rotation this season, and now we have confirmation. The 25-year-old righty logged a 2.34 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 46:16 K:BB in 57.2 innings last season. Opponents hit just .210 against him.
