Indians manager Terry Francona said Monday that pitcher Corey Kluber will start the team's regular-season opener April 6 against the Astros.

Kluber was the clear choice to start on Opening Day after winning the American League Cy Young Award last season. He went 18-9 with a 2.44 ERA and 269:51 K:BB ratio in 235 2/3 innings during 2014.
