Kluber (2-3) looked like his old self Wednesday against the Tigers, tossing a shutout, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out seven.
Kluber turned in a vintage performance Wednesday, creating a wave of groundball outs and sidestepping a handful of jams en route to a 4-0 victory. The righty generated 16 outs via grounders, including a pair of double plays while beating the Tigers for the second time this season. Aside from two bad outings in his first three, Kluber has been his normal self and holds a beautiful 42:7 K:BB through his first six starts (34 innings).
