Double-A Akron activated Fermin (hamstring) from the 7-day injured list Sunday.
Fermin was sidelined for approximately two weeks with a low-grade left hamstring strain. The 22-year-old infielder was hitting .268 with zero home runs and one stolen base in 162 plate appearances for Akron prior to landing on the IL.
