Clevinger will start one game of Friday's doubleheader with the Tigers after going unused out of the bullpen during the Indians' doubleheader Wednesday with the Yankees, Zack Meisel of The Athletic Cleveland reports.
Clevinger is listed as the Indians' probable starter for Game 2 of Friday's twin bill, matching up against Detroit's Buck Farmer. The 26-year-old right-hander carries a 3.86 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 12.0 K/9 rate over five appearances in August.
