Perez isn't starting Saturday's game against Tampa Bay, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Perez has gone just 2-for-15 with a solo home run, three walks and seven strikeouts since the All-Star break, and he'll be out of the lineup for a third consecutive game as he may have lost his hold on the starting job behind the dish. Austin Hedges will start at catcher once again and bat eighth.
