Ramos suffered a torn ACL and sprained MCL in Sunday's win over the Red Sox, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Ramos was filling in as depth behind the dish with Roberto Perez (hand) sidelined, but he'll now be forced to miss the remainder of the season. The 34-year-old appeared in 44 games with Detroit and Cleveland this year and slashed .205/.248/.397 with eight home runs, 20 RBI and 15 runs. He faces a lengthy recovery process and is slated to become a free agent during the offseason.
