The Dodgers released Eder (undisclosed) on Monday.
The Dodgers elected to let Eder go in order to clear up a spot on the 40-man roster for right-hander Evan Phillips (elbow), who was activated from the 60-day injured list Monday. Triple-A Oklahoma City placed Eder on its 7-day injured list last week due to an undisclosed injury, so it's unclear if he'll be ready to pitch right away when he signs with his next organization.
