Tinoco elected free agency after being outrighted by the Rangers on Thursday.
Tinoco had his contract selected May 23 but allowed nine earned runs across 10 innings and was designated for assignment Sunday. He was more effective with the Rangers in 2023 with a 2.18 ERA in 17 outings, so he may be able to find a role with another club.
