Bonifacio signed a contract Monday with the Guadalajara Mariachis of the Mexican League.

Bonfiacio will head south of the border after he was unable to land a contract with an MLB team this winter as a free agent. The 27-year-old outfielder spent the abbreviated 2020 campaign in the Tigers organization, appearing in 30 games and accruing a .221/.277/.326 slash line over 94 plate appearances.
