Guerra was designated for assignment by the Angels on Tuesday, and he'll now be free to seek out other opportunities in free agency. The 36-year-old made 41 appearances (one start) in the majors last year and posted a 6.06 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 65.1 innings.
