The Brewers released McCullers on Sunday.
McCullers is now officially a free agent after clearing waivers following his removal from Milwaukee's 40-man roster. The veteran right-hander has posted a 6.55 ERA and 48:27 K:BB over 44 innings covering eight starts and two relief outings between the Astros and Brewers in 2026.
