Diaz signed with the Samsung Lions of the KBO on Thursday, Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reports.
Most notably a prospect with the Twins late last decade who saw brief runs in the majors with the Marlins from 2020-22, Diaz spent 2024 playing in the Mexican League. He slashed .376/.452/.647 with 19 home runs in 75 games split between Piratas de Campeche and Diablos Rojos del Mexico.
