Gordon (back) remains out Friday against the Athletics.
Gordon sat Thursday with a tight back and will be on the bench for at least one more game, although Greg Johns of MLB.com reports that the decision to sit Gordon on Friday was primarily related to giving younger players a chance to play. Accordingly, it's unclear if he's expected to start either of the final two games of the season. Donnie Walton will be the second baseman Friday.
