White (hip) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

White was closing in on being activated from the injured list but suffered a setback in his recovery when he had to exit his rehab outing with Triple-A Tacoma last Thursday. The move to the 60-day IL means the earliest White can be activated is the first game after the All-Star break against the Angels on July 16. Per Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times, White will receive a second opinion on his strained hip flexor in the coming days to get a better idea of a potential recovery timeline. Jake Hager was claimed off waivers and added to the 40-man roster in a corresponding transaction.
