White (hip) resumed taking swings this weekend but isn't ready for a rehab assignment, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
The 25-year-old resumed baseball activities Thursday and has progressed to making swings, but he needs to ramp up his work a bit more before embarking on a rehab assignment. White doesn't have an official timeline for his return but shouldn't be expected to be activated until at least the second week of June.
