Crawford went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk in a win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Crawford had one of five two-hit efforts in a productive Mariners lineup, his first such tally since July 11. He hit safely for the fourth time in the last five games in the process, a modest upswing that nevertheless qualifies as progress for Crawford by the standards of what has been an exceedingly difficult season at the plate. Despite the recent uptick in production, the 29-year-old's average still sits just below the Mendoza Line at .198, and his .305 OBP and .634 OPS are both also career lows.
