Machi (1-0) fired a scoreless inning in Wednesday's 8-7 win over the Angels.
Making his second appearance in as many nights, Machi was highly effective once again, disposing of Andrelton Simmons, Ben Revere and Cliff Pennington in 11 pitches. The 35-year-old right-hander has surrendered just one hit through his first three innings and looks like a viable multi-inning option out of the bullpen for manager Scott Servais thus far.
