Garver (back) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
The 33-year-old was scratched from the lineup Friday due to back spasms and will be sidelined Sunday for the third consecutive contest. Mitch Haniger will receive a turn at designated hitter while Luke Raley starts in right field. Garver should be considered day-to-day until the team updates his status.
