Margevicius (shoulder) underwent thoracic outlet syndrome surgery earlier this summer, MLB.com reports.
The report confirms that Margevicius won't pitch again this season, which was fully expected after he was diagnosed with the shoulder condition in May. He'll turn his focus toward getting healthy for the start of spring training in 2022, though Margevicius could still head into next season with some restrictions.
