France (wrist) is starting Thursday against the Astros.
France tweaked his left wrist on a swing Tuesday and sat out Wednesday's series finale against the Rangers as a result. However, he's starting at first base and batting second during Thursday's matchup. France has gone 6-for-18 with two homers, three runs and two RBI over five games since the All-Star break.
