Myers (ankle) announced Monday that he has been cleared for baseball activities, MLB.com reports.
After fracturing his left ankle July 13, Myers had been limited to upper-body workouts and running on an anti-gravity treadmill before getting the green light to resume baseball work. Given the length of his layoff, Myers will need to time to complete a running program and regain his timing at the plate, so he probably won't be a realistic option to return from the 60-day injured list until the latter part of September.
