Gordon is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Nationals, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
Gordon is 8-for-26 (.308) against Nationals starter Max Scherzer but just 4-for-21 (.190) in five games since April 16, so manager Don Mattingly decided to hold him out Thursday for the first time this season. Derek Dietrich will man the keystone Thursday in Gordon's place.
