Perez (arm) will be activated from the 7-day injured list to start Friday for Double-A Pensacola, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Perez has been on the IL since late August due to arm fatigue, but he made a rehab appearance at High-A Jupiter on Saturday, striking out four in two scoreless innings. The right-hander should have a chance to make one more Double-A start prior to the end of the minor-league season.
