The Marlins claimed Wall off waivers from Atlanta on Thursday and optioned him to Triple-A Jacksonvile.
The 28-year-old outfielder was DFA'd by Atlanta on Monday to help make room for Whit Merrifield and Nacho Alvarez. Wall will remain in Triple-A, where he's slashed .279/.380/.411 with 18 RBI through 231 plate appearances, though he reclaims a 40-man roster spot upon joining his new organization.
