The Marlins have acquired Mangum from the Mets as the player to be named later in the Jeff Brigham-Elieser Hernandez trade, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Mangum, 26, posted a .804 OPS in the minors last season while splitting most of his time between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse. The switch-hitting infielder/outfielder could compete for a reserve role with the Marlins next season.
