Wendle isn't starting Friday against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Even though right-hander Kyle Wright is starting for Atlanta on Friday, Wendle will get a breather after going 4-for-14 with a double, two RBI and a run in his last four appearances. Brian Anderson will start at third base and bat seventh.
