Wendle (hamstring) is starting Thursday against the Padres, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Wendle missed the last three games due to hamstring soreness, but he'll start at third base and bat seventh in Thursday's series opener. Over his last four games, he's gone 1-for-13 with a double, a run, a stolen base and a walk.
