Morin (elbow) was transferred to the 45-day injured list Tuesday.
Morin landed on the injured list with a UCL injury in his right elbow Friday. His move to the 45-day injured list means that he will likely miss the remainder of the regular season, and the transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster. The right-hander was effective over a limited sample this season, firing four scoreless innings while allowing one hit and one walk. He recorded two strikeouts.
