The Marlins outrighted Anderson to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.
Assuming he doesn't elect to become a free agent, Anderson will stick around in the Miami organization and continue to occupy a spot in the Jacksonville rotation. Though he owns a 2.33 ERA over six outings (five starts) with Jacksonville, Anderson has been far less successful across 14 innings in the big leagues between the Marlins and Rangers this season, logging a 9.64 ERA and 2.29 WHIP.
