Bellozo came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Nationals, allowing three hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out one.

The rookie right-hander was far from dominant, producing only seven swinging strikes among his 85 pitches, but Bellozo minimized any hard contact and left the mound with the Marlins clinging to a 1-0 lead. The quality start was his second in nine big-league outings, and it was a strong bounce-back effort after he's been tagged for 12 runs (11 earned) over his last 8.2 innings. Bellozo will carry a 3.78 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 33:17 K:BB through 47.2 frames into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Pittsburgh.
