He remains one of the few bright spots in the Marlins' depleted lineup. Edwards has his safely in eight straight games, batting .469 (15-for-32) over that stretch to boost his slash line on the season to .383/.456/.470 through 137 plate appearances with a homer, 12 steals, 13 RBI and 19 runs.
