The Giants remain a possible designation for Chapman in free agency, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
San Francisco has been viewed as the favorite to land the third baseman throughout the offseason, but there doesn't currently appear to be much momentum toward a deal. Chapman spent the past two years in Toronto and hit 17 homers with a .240/.330/.424 slash line in 140 games during 2023.
